TITLE: Balta

DESCRIPTION: wolf; Balta is a Tundra wolf hybrid that was raised with a dog for a companion in a private home in IL. Given the choice of putting him down or sending him here on his own. Balta soon found his way to our gates. Although we were initially reluctant to take him due to lack of housing the Animal Welfare League of Chicago generously provided the pen in which he resides today. He is a very skittish creature and no doubt misses his former life and canine companion.
